This is a free and family-friendly event to mark the historic commencement of Victoria’s Treaty with a celebration of culture, dance and community that is open to all Victorians.
Treaty paves the way for a new relationship between First Peoples and the Victorian Government – one built on respect, trust, and integrity.
Families are better off when they have responsibility over their own lives and Treaty gives Aboriginal people a say in how their services are run.
Because when First Peoples lead the way to design policies and solutions, we get better outcomes across areas like health, housing and education.
When you listen to people, you get better outcomes for people. And that’s what Treaty is. A practical way to achieve practical change.
